George and Anna Evanko raised their family of 8 children in Dunmore, Pennsylvania. Thirteen children were born, but only 8 survived to become adults. The 8 surviving children produced 22 descendants. From those 22 descendants, the next generation includes 32 children. The newest generation has begun, with the birth of "9" children so far.

I also remember that all of the OLDER males (not the young folks Joseph), had to have a mustache or they would very likely end up in "jail" for a little while. It really was great, especially going to all of the block parties, and seeing everyone dressed in oldtime dresses, etc. I have Aunt Margie's dress in my attic. I actually used it as a Hallowen costume several times.

I love the old car and the A & P sign in the back of this one.
